Singer and guitarist Ilusha Tsinadze was born in Soviet-era Georgia and emigrated with his family to the U.S. at the age of 8, where his musical upbringing consisted of punk rock, jazz and American folk tunes. Playing traditional Georgian songs in new arrangements on banjo and electric guitar, Ilusha’s music is a true expression of a contemporary multicultural identity.
